Francesca Concetta Badolato of Somerille died June 28 surrounded by her family.
Born in Montepaone, Calabria, Italy, she was the daughter of Gregorio and Innocenza Prestera and the wife of the late Alfredo Badolato, beloved Mama of Lino and his wife, Lydia of Medford, Gregorio of Somerville, Maurizio of Boston’s North End, Sergio of Somerville, Corrado and his girlfriend, Virginia of Derry NH and Luisa and her fiance, Steve Langis of Somerville; sister of Vincenzo Prestera and his wife, Pina and the late Theresa and Nina. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Alfredo, Victoria, Alfred, Rachel, Alessandra, and Stephanie.and her great grandchild, Zach Babo
Services were at Dello Russo Funeral Home in Medford and St Ann Church in Somerville.She was laid to rest next to her beloved husband in Holy Cross Cemetery.
