Two agenda items were voted on at the North End/Waterfront Residents’ Association monthly meeting on Thursday, August 13 held at the Nazzaro Community Center, 30 North Bennet Street.
The volunteer neighborhood group voted 9 to 2 in favor of a request by North End Realty Group’s application to the Boston Board of Appeal for zoning relief to convert the existing building at 81 Prince Street, first floor commercial space into a new restaurant, Nostra, and to transfer a beer and wine license for restaurant use.
By a unanimous vote 9-0, NEWRA supported construction of a one-story atrium addition Mother Anna’s Restaurant, 211-213 Hanover Street.
The addition calls for moving the atrium into portions of the outdoor patio for additional seating and a new bar.
NEWRA’s next monthly meeting is September 10.
