NSC Halloween Party a Treat
The Halloween Party held at the North End/West End Neighborhood Service Center (NSC) on Michelangelo Street was a real Treat.
Besides the many sweets, NSC staff prepared a healthy meal of pork, salad and vegetables.
The bowls of candy that were placed on tables was sponsored by the North End Rehabilitation and Health Care Center.
Others sugary treats were provided by friends and elected officials, Sen. Joe Boncore and Counselor Lydia Edwards, who made their way around meeting and speaking to the participants.
Seniors also enjoyed pudding made by Julia, the Center’s service coordinator.
The drop-in Center was decorated with Halloween paraphernalia including big decorative pumpkins.
Guests lingered over coffee and reminisced about Halloweens past in the North End.
