Apparently, North End residents are not pleased with Mayor Martin J Walsh’s decision to cut the neighborhoods household trash pickup days from three to two to save money based on the estimated cost to do trash pick-up.
The Mayor also cited environmental reasons for the major change in the community’s trash collection schedule.
For untold years, the North End has had the luxury of having three-day collections and it’s going to take some time for the neighborhood to get used to the major change.
However, the new rules are cast in stone and the community needs to adjust accordingly.
