The North End/Waterfront Neighborhood Council president, along with other elected community members, has made a gallant attempt to unite the community by merging with the North End/Waterfront Residents’ Association.
However, it has become completely obvious that NEWRA is not interested and has rejected a sit-down meeting to at least discuss the idea.
While the Regional Review agrees with a merger of some kind, it has become a closed-door option at this time.
One united community group can become a powerful neighborhood voice that will get attention and action on issues related to the community.
But it takes two to tango!
