A proposed $1 million for the renovations of the Christopher Columbus Park Playground has been proposed by Boston Mayor Martin Walsh.
Renovations will include a play structure, safety resurfacing, fencing, lighting, furnishing pathway repairs, drainage, signage and green infrastructure to mitigate future sea level rise.
Since the FY 20 budget is currently undergoing City Council Hearings to review there is no budget approved at this time.
Reportedly, the vote will take place in early June.
