NEMPAC 10th annual Soirée at Paul Revere Mall

Get ready for a night to remember: a magical evening of community, cabaret, and conviviality under the stars as the North End Music & Performing Arts Center (NEMPAC) hosts its 10th Annual Soirée, a vibrant fundraiser supporting equitable arts access across Greater Boston.

The event will take place on Thursday, September 24th on the iconic and historic Paul Revere Mall and debut a new theme in celebration of 10 years: “Cabaret in the City,” featuring themed decor and performances, and guests are also encouraged to dress the part.

This annual gathering raises critical funds for NEMPAC’s Community Music School and Performing Arts Center, helping to ensure that exceptional music education and performing arts programs are accessible and affordable to all.

The evening will feature captivating live performances by NEMPAC artists and musicians and a live auction and fund-a-need, followed by a dance after-party at Mia Roof Deck, thanks to DePasquale Ventures.

Funds raised at the Soirée will directly support NEMPAC’s year-round programs that reach over 2,900 artists of all ages and abilities, through music lessons, musical theatre and movement classes, programming in local Boston Public Schools, a year-round teen internship and youth development program in partnership with the City of Boston, and continued expanded offerings at the Charlestown Working Theater.

It also helps sustain NEMPAC’s professional performing arts season, including the free Jazz in the Park Summer Series and the Artist Series, and will kick off NEMPAC’s upcoming 25th Anniversary Season.

This year’s Soirée will honor two distinguished contributors to the arts:

• Traci Walker Griffith, Executive Director of the Eliot K-8 Innovation School, is retiring this summer after more than 34 years of leadership advancing equity, arts education, and student success in Boston.

• Robin Sidell, Chef and Owner of North Street Grille, a beloved North End restaurant, and a longtime community leader whose support of local organizations, including NEMPAC, has helped strengthen Boston’s cultural and civic life.

Join us in making arts education accessible to everyone. Event proceeds fund life-changing programming and instruction by more than 40 NEMPAC faculty members across disciplines from piano and voice to trumpet, ukulele, and more.
