North End resident Ted Wallus, owner of a small business Next Stage Benefits, has been frequently visiting the North End/West End Neighborhood Service Center and the Casa Maria Housing working with many seniors who have questions about or are planning for Medicare.
Ted works with individuals 65 and older through Medicare plan analysis including healthcare needs, primary care network and prescription drug requirements.
This information enables Wallus to compare different plans and see if more cost-effective options exist.
Wallus will be presenting his Medicare 101 seminar locally, visit nextstagebenefits.com to find out more about his plan review.
Ted and his wife Leslie Horn Wallus, President of Responsible Urbanites For Fido (RUFF), have held, sponsored or participated in several community events including the North End Cornhole Classic, NEW Health Viva le Bocce Tournament, North End Cares Fundraiser and the Aetna CVS Independent Boston Partnership event on Hanover Street.
They also, of course, are involved in the activities of RUFF which started in 2012 and helped create a community dog park in DeFilippo Park (Gassy) in 2019 and eventually the Richmond Street dog park which will soon be renovated.
