The West End Museum Presents: Treasures from the West End Museum Archives

Step into the past and experience history interactively at the West End Museum’s exclusive event: Treasures from the West End Museum Archives. Join us for an unforgettable evening as we delve into the captivating stories and artifacts that offer a window into the West End’s rich history.

Unveil Hidden Gems: Get ready to touch, feel, and connect with history as our curator and archivist, Bob Potenza, leads a captivating hands-on discussion. Travel into the heart of Boston’s past as we showcase a curated selection of rare archival materials that hold tales of bygone eras.

Journey Back in Time: Through exploration of the illuminatingly detailed 1766 Osgood Carleton map, the beautifully illustrated 1922 Bromley Atlas, the unflinching photographs of the Edgell Collection, and more, you’ll have the unique opportunity to interact with history in its raw form.

Connect with the Archivist: Bob Potenza joined the WEM in 2021 as a Volunteer Researcher and was hired as Archivist/Curator in 2022. He holds a BA in Economics from Boston University and a MA in History and Archival Science from University of Massachusetts Boston.

The event will be held on Thursday, September 28, 6 – 7pm EDT.  Tickets and more information can be found online at www.eventbrite.com/e/treasures-from-the-west-end-museum-archives-tickets-707041449007.
