It was a full house at the North End/West End Neighborhood Service Center (NSC) for a St. Patrick’s Day party hosted by Eagle Bank.
Approximately four-dozen members of the NSC, two groups of West Enders from the Amy Lowell House and the Blackstone Apartments, along with many representatives from Eagle Bank joined the festive party.
Attendees were treated to Shepard’s Pie, potatoes, cabbage, corn, rolls, cookies, candy, and coffee. Boston City Counselor Lydia Edwards provided donuts.
NSC Advisory Board member Victor Brogna played traditional Irish tunes on his trumpet. Former Board Member and volunteer David Roderick assisted with serving food.
Eagle Bank employees, Senior Vice President of Marketing Jamie Addonzio, Vice President of Residential Lending Ingrid Mahoney and Gisele Paola, Vice President Business Developer Officer also helps serve the food.
According to the NSC, “All in all it was a delightful day spent at the drop-in center with good food, conversation, and friends for those who traced their roots back to the shores of Ireland, along with the honorary Irish for a Day.”
Special guest included Senator Sal N. DiDomenico and Gabriella Coletta, who attended Bering donuts from City Counselor Lydia Edwards’ office. “It brings such joy for the seniors to have the elected officials visit their constituents in the space that so many consider a second home,” NSC said.
