Receive one-on-one, basic computer instruction for PC computing, laptops, iPads, or tablets.

Mah Johngg Club – Thursdays at 11:00 a.m. -  2:00 p.m.

Come and play the American-style variant of this tile-based game that originated in China and requires skill, strategy, and calculation. Beginners are welcome. Please note that beginner instruction begins at 11:00 a.m. No sign up is required.

Gentle Yoga – Tuesdays in February at 12:30 – 1:30 p.m.

Join certified yoga instructor Maura Almy as she leads a weekly yoga class for all levels. The gentle flowing movements and passive and supported poses of this Vinyasa-style Yoga is appropriate for those working with an injury, limited mobility, or those who prefer a softer approach to yoga. Proper yoga breathing will also be taught.  You will leave the class feeling rested and happy that you took some time out of your day to do something for you!

Maura Almy, a North End resident , has been teaching movement for over 30 years . Maura is a certified yoga instructor, having completed both a 200 hour yoga teacher program as well as a 300 hour yoga teacher program for experienced instructors. She has a BFA and MBA , and is the mom of 3 children.

Baby Time with Miss Becca –– Fridays February 16 — 10:00-10:45 am

Join Ms. Becca from Boston Community Collaborative for Baby Time, as we explore stories, rhymes, and music! This program is for babies 0-18 months. Please come prepared to actively engage with your child.

Lego Club  – Saturday February  3  –  9:30 – 11:00 a.m.

Drop in to play with Legos and create your own world.           Chess Club — Tuesday February 20 — 3:30 – 5:00 pm

Advanced beginners and intermediate players ages 7 – 12: enjoy a challenging chess match with other kids and learn some new tactics from our friendly, knowledgeable chess mentor.

Thursday February 15  -  3:00 – 5:00 p.m.

Stop by afterschool to create your very own Kandinsky inspired Heart print! All ages welcome.

Preschool Storytime  — Friday February 16 – 11:00 – 11:45 am

Join Ms. Alyson for a story time filled with books, songs, activities, and more! This program is for children ages 18 months and older. Please come prepared to actively engage with your child

Wee the People: BLM Storytime  — Saturday February 17 — 10:30 – 12:00 pm

Join Wee the People for a workshop of kid-powered resistance with our social justice story time event “Black Lives Matter.” Through stories and activities, kids will explore themes of protest and racial justice, taking lessons from the past to understand today’s Movement for Black Lives. Best for kids 5 and up. Space is limited= please call in advance to register

Exploring Opera with Boston Lyric Opera  –  Wednesday February 21  — 1:00 – 2:15 pm

Come learn all about opera with the Boston Lyric Opera  as they use vocals, instruments, and music to tell the story of Hansel and Gretel.  Best for kids 5 and up- younger siblings welcome.

Salt Art with Salt Bae   –  Wednesday February  21  –  3:00 – 4:00 pm

Make your very own salt art with Mari! All ages welcome.

Beaded Jewelry  –  Thursday February  22  –  10:30 – 12:00 pm

Kids of all ages are invited to stop by and make their own bracelet or necklace using beads.

Fuse Bead Craft – Thursday February 22   –  3:00 – 4:30 pm

Use perler beads to decorate shapes and animals, and watch as Alyson fuses your design together using heat!

Block Party  –  Friday February  23  –  10:00 – 12:00 pm

Little ones and their siblings are invited to drop-in and play with different types of blocks and experiment towers and building.
