By Phil Orlandella

Boston’s Inspectional Services Department (ISD) Board of Appeals has proved two and denied one request relating to the North End.

All applicants appeared at both neighborhood organizations and were supported.

ISD approved a request by the owner of 290 North Street to convert the bed and breakfast and one residential unit to a four family residential dwelling.

Also approved was a request by the owner of 4 Cleveland Place to change the legal occupancy from a two-story single family to a four-story plus mezzanine three family with a private roof deck for the top unit.

A request by the owner of 27 Sheafe Street to change the occupancy from five to eight units was denied by the Board without prejudice.
