Prince St. Restaurant Seeks to Extend License

Artu Restaurant, 6 Prince Street, Nancy Frattaroli has applied to the Mayor’s Office of Consumer Affairs and Licensing to extend the licensed hours for non-live entertainment to 2am. No other license or business changes have been requested.

The owner seeks to extend operation of one television and taped background music from 1am to 2am, 7 days, consistent with the eatery’s all alcohol pouring license closing time and longstanding bar hours. The kitchen typically closes at 1am.

The owner responded to past complaints of late night noise outside the establishment, hiring a door person to check IDs and manage the space from 11pm to 2:30am and posting signs asking patrons to be respectful of the neighbors according to NEWRA which has sent a letter of “no objection” for the request to the proper agencies.
