Today is Primary Day

It’s time to make a choice and get to the polls to express your point of view in several races that take place in the City of Boston, today, Primary Day, Tuesday, September 24.

Polls are open until 8pm, so there is plenty of time to get to them and cast a ballot for Mayor and At-Large District City Council candidates.

Registered voters can vote for only one mayoral candidate, two will make the final election.

In the At Large Boston City Council race, voters can vote for four candidates, eight will be in the final election.

In the District One Council contest voters can vote for two candidates with two making the ballot for the November final election.

It is important that voters express their constitutional right at the polls.

Primary winners will square-off in the finals with the results confirming the powers to be in the City of Boston.
