North End residents have a great opportunity not only to be heard relating to concerns facing the community, at the same time they can obtain first hand information on proposals that directly impact the neighborhood.
Anything and everything that is requested to occur in the community goes before two neighborhood advisory groups that make suggestions that are referred to city departments that make the final decisions.
Complaining after the fact doesn’t mean anything, it only creates further problems.
Both the North End/Waterfront Neighborhood Council and Residents’ Association meet monthly to discuss and vote on proposals relating to the community.
These meetings are open to the public and residents are encouraged to attend and express their point of view in an open forum.
Sitting on the couch flicking the TV remote control just doesn’t cut it.
Be a true resident. Get to these community meetings that provide the opportunity to express your opinion.
