The Good Neighbor Recognition Award for April 2013 was presented to Bricco Ristorante and owner Frank DePasquale, on behalf of the North End / Waterfront Residents’ Association (NEWRA).
The presentation was made by NEWRA President, Jim Salini, and Recognition Committee Chair, Janet Gilardi outside Bricco Ristorante at 241 Hanover Street. In addition to being a longtime North End restauranteur, Frank is also Chairman of the North End Chamber of Commerce. He commented, “This award is special because it comes from the people in the community.â€
The monthly award is voted by NEWRA’s Executive Committee and given to local businesses and residents that consistently keep the areas around their property clean of trash and debris.
