Margaret (Caprio) Penta of Stoneham, formerly of Somerville & Boston’s North End, July 19, 2012 at age 102. Devoted wife of the late Michael Penta. Beloved mother of Carmella Dello Iacona of Revere & her late husband Joseph, Mary Piazza of Boxford & her late husband Dominic & Anna Nottebart & her husband Neil of Stoneham. Cherished grandmother of 5 grandchildren & great grandmother of 10 great grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Anthony of Padua Church, 250 Revere St., Revere, on Saturday July 21st at 12:00pm. Visitation will be held at the A.J. Marion Theresa Campagna
Known for Wondrous Homemade Italian Food
Marion Theresa Campagna died peacefully in her Wellesley home of 53 years surrounded by her family after a long illness. She was 93 years old.
Born in Boston, she was the oldest of five children of Anthony and Frances Prestera. With her brothers and sister she spent her early years in Boston’s North End and Jamaica Plain before marrying Edmund Campana in 1944 and settling in Wellesley. She then spent 60 years working with her husband at EH Campana Tailor Shop at 352 Washington Street.
She will be lovingly remembered by family and friends for her devotion to her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and for the wondrous homemade Italian food which was created in her kitchen.
She was the beloved wife of the late Edmund H. Campana; devoted mother of Frances M. Fallon and her husband, Michael of Wellesley, Richard E. Campana and his wife, Cynthia of Feeding Hills, MA; grandmother of Lindsay Fitzgibbon, Casey, Brian, and Amy Fallon, William and Matthew Campana and is also survived by three great grandchildren. She was the loving sister of Catherine Rouse of Belmont, Joseph Prestera of Newton, Anthony Prestera of Plymouth, and the late Francis Prestera.

Joseph “Papa Joe” Caruso of Somerville died on July 13.
Born in Messina, Sicily, Italy, he was the beloved husband of the late Grace (Cifala); father of Carmen and his wife, Kimberly (Ippolito) of Somerville, formerly of
Revere and brother of Nancy of the North End. He is also survived by two grandchildren Cassandra Caruso and Jillian Ippolito-Malfy and her husband, Ronald “Sam,†both of Revere.
