Carmen ‘Shorty McDuff’ Magnotta

Of Everett, formerly of the North End

Carmen E. “Shorty McDuff” Magnotta of Everett, formerly of the North and West End, died on April 10. He was the beloved husband of Phyllis (Damato) Magnotta; loving father of Katherine P. Magnotta, Angelina Miele and her husband, Paul and Carmen E. Magnotta, Jr. He is also survived by three loving grandchildren: Michelle Miele and her fiancé, Tom, Paul Miele and his wife, Barbara and Carmen, III. He leaves his dear friends Marie Abbruzzio and her family as well as his cousins James and Claire Imbruglia.

Antonetta Massaro

Of Florida, formerly of the North End

Antonetta (DePadua) Massaro of Naples, Florida, formerly of the North End of Boston, died on April 2.

She was the beloved wife of Frank Massaro.

In accordance with Mrs. Massaro’s wishes, funeral arrangements were private and under the personal care of the Ruggiero Family Memorial Home, East Boston. Burial was in Forest Glade Cemetery, Wakefield.

Frances D’Angelo

Of West Bridgewater, formerly of the

North End of Boston

Frances M. D’Angelo of West Bridgewater died peacefully on Easter Sunday at the age of 92.

Mrs. D’Angelo grew up in the North End and was the loving daughter of the late Ignazio and Crocifissa (Amarta) Ansaldi. She was a lifelong seamstress working in the textile industry until the age of 83. She loved cooking, spending time with her family, and getting her hair done.

She married the late Paul J. D’Angelo, Sr. on October 17, 1948 and they raised their boys in Boston. She was the loving mother of Richard J. of California, Robert P. and his wife, Karen of Florida and Paul Jr. and his wife, Roberta of Plympton; loving “Nonna” of Derek, Jonathan, Chantelle, Christopher, Danielle, Adam, Olivia, and Paul III and great grandmother of Zachery, Cameron, and Lexi; loving sister of Joseph of Woburn, Josephine Ansaldi of East Boston, Nicholas Sr. of Boston, Anthony Sr. of Medford and the late Nina Ansaldi, Katherine Ciccarello, and Stephen Sr.
