There’s another North End eatery, Benevento’s Original Brick Oven Kitchen and Bar, that officially opened on Salem Street last Wednesday, June 23.
Well over 200 invited guests turned out for the grand opening that saw Sen. Anthony Petruccelli, Rep. Aaron Michlewitz and Boston City Councilor Sal LaMattina joined owner Joe Bono for the traditional ribbon cutting ceremony.
Located at 111 Salem Street, next door to Bono’s other restaurant Al Dente, Benevento’s features homemade pasta and sauces, family recipe meatballs and specialty pizzas served in a unique atmosphere.
The restaurant’s contemporary design and old-world Italian ambience complements Benevento’s enticing menu, so there is sure to be a meal to please everyone.
Joe Bono is one of the most popular and well-liked businessman in the community.
