Why the City of Boston feels that two household trash pickup days is better than three is not comprehensible.
Three is always better than two when it comes to most things.
Simply put, the North End population is growing, with more families moving into the neighborhood.
That adds up to more household trash, so isn’t it obvious that three days of trash pickup is still the way to go?
It is also noteworthy that residents do not have enough space to store trash another day.
Changing the times household trash can be placed out will not resolve any problem(s) that currently exist.
It’s become apparent that many residents continue to place trash out on Saturdays and other days before the designated times.
Once again nothing will change.
The only resolution to the neighborhood trash woes is enforcement, enforcement and more enforcement.
Apparently that is working either!
