North End Against Drugs (NEAD) is preparing for another Family Pride Day at Langone Field on Commercial Street that will feature the Johnny Paolo Bocce Tournament and four live entertainment groups.
Scheduled for Saturday, September 15 from 12 noon to 4:30 PM the community event will also have a free BBQ, face painting, a petting zoo, balloon art, kid’s arts and crafts, free ice cream, Museum of Fine Arts, MWRA an art contest and more.
The bocce tournaments will begin at 12 noon, $5 registration fee and teams will be made up at the courts.
Sponsored by Public Action for Arts and Education the Art Contest is for all ages and prizes will be awarded.
Live entertainment will include: Crosstown at 12 noon, Street Magic at 1 PM, Vinyl Grove at 2 PM and NEMPAC performs at 3 PM.
