Harbor Tower climate project met the Nor’easter challenge
No sooner than the residents of Harbor Towers held a celebration of the 20 million completions of its climate resilience project, they experienced the brunt of a Nor’easter that made its way up the coast, creating high winds and heavy rain.
The project designed to protect the waterfront structure from rising sea levels and future coast storms, met the test, protecting the building as it was projected to do.
Harbor Towers residents, without any help from any government agencies, took the bulls by the horns and made this project a reality that has proven to be effective.
Harbor Towers has been designated as a critical flood pathway location.
