Heritage Park Announces Cancellations of Events

By Phil Orlandella

American Heritage Park on The Greenway has canceled two of its April events, Commemoration of the Park (24th) and Walk Against Genocide (26th) and the May 2 Celebrate Public Art during Art Week.

However, during these challenging times, preliminary planning is underway for Celebrating Contributions of Our Nations Immigrants to benefit the Park’s Endowed Fund for Care to be held during September.

The gala event will recognize Stephen Kurkjian, distinguished citizen, leader, Pulitzer Prize Journalist and Author, and also honor organizations serving immigrants and refugees. Confirmation of this special event will be posted.
