Mayor Walsh/Counselor Edwards Partner to make changes to the ZBA

Making changes to the Zoning Board of Appeal is long overdue, especially because of recent allegations of bribery.

Boston Mayor Martin Walsh has started the ball rolling signing an executive order to change including the possibility of a new board.

Boston City Councilor Lydia Edwards is partnering with the Mayor to produce a home rule petition for a change which needs approval by the City Council. However, the final decision for change has to go through the state legislature before changes can become a reality.
