On Saturday, May 4, dozens of North End neighbors participated in the City of Boston’s annual neighborhood cleanup also known as Love Your Block organized by the Mayor’s Office of Neighborhood Services.
Volunteers started the morning with coffee and doughnuts provided by State Rep. Aaron Michelwitz and then hit the streets to clean the community. Various neighborhood organizations and groups were represented at the cleanup; the North End Waterfront Neighborhood Council, Friends of Cutillo Park, and the Eliot K-8 middle school students to name a few.
Our mission is to provide opportunities for all Bostonians to become civically involved in our community. We envision Boston as being a place where all Bostonians can volunteer their time maintaining and improving their city, one block at a time.
