EVERSOURCE Energizes NEAD

By Phil Orlandella

North End Against Drugs (NEAD) President John Romano has announced that EVERSOURCE Energy has made a major donation to the non-profit community organization.

“EVERSOURCE will continue the long storied history of Boston Edison and NSTAR as our corporate sponsors,” Romano stated.

“NEAD is proud to partner with the energy company as well as organizations like the North End Athletic Association (NEAA), North End Music and Performing Arts Center (NEMPAC), Nazzaro Community Center, North End Waterfront Health, Eliot School, St. John School and Boston Police District A-1,” Romano added.

“The contribution will help keep our family on and team programs running for another season,” he said.

“NEAD along with EVERSOURCE and their predecessors have been working together for over twenty-seven years,” Romano pointed out.
