North End Chamber of Commerce Moving Forward with Promotions

Chamber founder Frank DePasquale.

Besides the general business, the North End Chamber of Commerce outlined their future programs and activities for the near future.

As they did last year, the Chamber plans to renew its Taxi Top advertisement program. Members felt the promotion went well and should be repeated.

A Spring Stroll has been set-up for Sunday, April 27 from 12 noon to 5pm. Brochures, signs and some advertisement will be part of the business related promotion.

The Chamber has made a sizable donation for the upcoming “Taste of the North End” annual event coordinator by the Frattaroli family and the North End Health Center. This event will be held on Friday, May 2 at the Sterite Skating Rink on Commercial Street.

In conjunction with the Old North Church, the Chamber has developed a “Dine, Shop, & Stay” 2014 Bonus Coupon Book and promotional brochures that will be placed in Faneuil Hall in an attempt to have visitors dine in the neighborhood while they are visiting historical sites and attract visitors from outside the community.

For the upcoming Boston Marathon, businesses will display supportive signs in their windows.

The next monthly meeting will be a Breakfast Meeting at Battery Wharf Fairmont Hotel on Tuesday, April 1 at 8am.
