Mangia Mangia Supports Neighborhood Endeavors

Mangia-Mangia, 147 Endicott Street.

One of the oldest North End eateries is not located on Hanover Street or Salem Street it’s on Endicott Street.

For almost 27 years, (this December) Mangia Mangia has been serving breakfast and lunch to local residents and other customers from 6am-3:30pm.

Mangia Mangia, 147 Endicott Street is still being patronized by many local residents and it could be the oldest North End business still serving food.

Owner John Pagliuca is very active and supportive of the community he operates a business in. He serves as the President of the Knights of Columbus on North Margin Street. He is also a member of the Saint Anthony’s Society and the Sulmona Club on Fleet Street.

Pagliuca also volunteers his time working with and financially supporting several community non-profit agencies and organizations.

“If I can help out this community at any time, I’ll be there,” Pagliuca said.

Some of the groups Mangia Mangia supports are: North End Against Drugs (NEAD), North End Athletic Association (NEAA), the Nazzaro Com-munity Center and others.

NEAD President John Romano called the North End business owner “A committed community man who always plays a role in many neighborhood endeavors”.
