Committee Supports Liquor License Transfer

Massimo Tiberi’s plans to purchase Marco’s Restaurant at 233 Hanover Street was recently supported by the North End/Waterfront Residents’ Association Executive Committee.

The purchase requires the transfer of the existing beer, wine with cordials license with no changes to hours of operation, capacity or seating.

“After confirming that the applicant had complied with NEWRA Neighbor Notification Policy and determining that no significant neighbor concerns or significant impact to the community was raised, NEWRA Executive Committee decided to send a letter to the Licensing Board stating that the Association has no objection to the business and license transfer,” according to committee co-chair David Kubiak.

The North End/Waterfront Neighborhood Council at their last monthly meeting also supported the transfer.
