Clean Streets Committee to Set Goals

Priorities and goals will be the topic of discussion at tonight’s (12/13/11) NEWRA Clean Streets Committee monthly meeting.

The Committee has many items on their plate and they have been working hard to make some headway on many fronts.

Chairman David Grant has asked members to present goals and priorities at the Tuesday, December 13 meeting scheduled for 7pm in the Nazzaro Community Center.

“The Committee needs to direct its attention to one or two major issues and concentrate on these objectives in order to make some progress and then move on to other concerns,” according to most members of the Committee.

For several years the Committee has succeeded and failed on many endeavors but they plan to continue their efforts to make the North End cleaner.

All residents are welcome to attend the meeting and make suggestions and express concerns.
