Olga Capossela

North End resident

Olga (Baldassari) Capossela of Boston’s North End died on May 19. She was 91 years old.

She was the beloved wife of the late Carmine; devoted mother of Marguerite and her husband, Angelo Buonopane, of the North End, Josephine Amatucci of Wolfboro, NH, Domenic Capossela of the North End, and Evelyn Harrington of Quincy; loving grandmother of Salvatore DiMino and his wife, Dena, of Winthrop, Michael DiMino and his wife, Debbie, of Utah, Stephen DiMino of Las Vegas, Lisa Mediano of Medford, Margerhita and her husband, Joseph Savarese, of New Hampshire, Anthony Amatucci and his wife, Joann, of Winthrop, Stanley Amatucci of New Hampshire, Dom Capossela and his wife, Amanda, of Sharon, Mino Capossela and his wife, Maura, of New York, Chris Capossela and his wife, Leigh, of Seattle, Stephanie and her husband, Ralph Richardson, of Quincy, Marlo LeVangie of Braintree, Camie and her husband, Scott Fulton, of Braintree, Francette and her husband, Brian Kelley, of California and Daniel Harrington of Quincy; great grandmother of 22; daughter of the late Josephine and Vittorio Baldassari; daughter in law of the late Domenico and Nevina Capossela. She is survived by her sisters Carmella Cascio and Mary Baldassari and was the sister of the late Fernando (Freddy), Domenic (Duffy), Rico (Blondie), Johnny, Anthony (Shrimpy) and Lillian Frissora and loving sister in law of the late Lucy Baldassari, the late Rose Baldassri, Mary Baldassari, Louise DiCenso, the late Lena Buccella, the late Margaret Lanni, Alexander (Santo) Capossela, Marie Capossela, and Elena Sutera. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Rose Iacozzi

Somerville resident

Rose M. (Cintioni) Iacozzi of Somerville died on May 24.

She was the beloved wife of the late Giusto Iacozzi; mother of Victor lacozzi of Somerville, sister of the late Rita Rockwood and sister-in-law of Richard Rockwood of Somerville.

Donna Vincola

Former North End Real Estate Agent

Donna M. (DeMonte) Vincola of Weymouth, formerly of Braintree and East Boston, died May 22 at South Shore Hospital in Weymouth. She was 57 years old.

She was raised and educated in East Boston and lived in Braintree before moving to Weymouth 16 years ago. She was a former Real Estate Agent for Anzalone Realty in the North End of Boston and was also a Licensed Practical Nurse. She loved to vacation in Aruba where she visited for 25 years every March.

She was the beloved wife of Donald D. Vincola; devoted mother of Jennifer Buckley and her husband, Brian, of Whitman, Mark Vincola of Weymouth and Christopher Vincola of Brooklyn, NY; daughter of Domenic DeMonte of East Boston and the late Antionetta (Milano) DeMonte; sister of Debra Concannon of East Boston, Diana Pirone of Winthrop and the late Domenic Sonny DeMonte. She was a loving Nana to Alyssa Vincola and Andrew and Abigail Buckley.

Catherine ‘Kay’ Battaglia

North End resident

Catherine “Kay” Battaglia of Boston’s North End died on May 19. She was 92 years old.

She was the cherished daughter of the late Angelina (Abbondanza) and Rosario Battaglia; loving sister of Rosario “Ross” Battaglia of the North End, Elaine V. Catino and her husband, Nicholas, of Reading, the late Charles Battaglia, and the late Vincent Battaglia and his wife, Marie. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Angie Battaglia of Winthrop and many loving nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

Funeral arrangements were by the Boston Harborside Home, Boston. Burial was at Woodlawn Cemetery in Everett, MA. Domenic Rosati Sr.

Of Billerica,

formerly of the North End

Domenic J. Rosati Sr. of Billerica, formerly of Medford and the North End of Boston, died on May 20.

A US Army veteran and POW of World War II, he was the beloved husband of the late Nunzia “Lulu” (Valarese); devoted father of Constance Osborne of Billerica, Domenic Jr. and Anthony Rosati both, of Medford and is also survived by six loving grandchildren and eight loving great grandchildren. He was the brother of Vincenza Braunstein of New York, Emillo Rosati of Millis, and the late Rocco, George, and Anthony Rosati.
