Friends of North End Library Membership Drive Underway

Friends of the North End Library, a nonprofit organization made up of all volunteers, is currently undergoing a membership drive.

The Friends run many of their own programs like author talks, speaker presentations, trips, beautification of the Library and many holiday parties for the entire community.

In addition, the group also provides financial support, purchases supplies and furniture while assisting with the programs provided by the library.

They have also provided magazine subscriptions, game set and tables for the mahjongg club, chess sets for the children’s librarian and much more.

A very successful daily books sale provides income for their program to keep dues low.

Standard memberships: Single $15, family of two or more $25, seniors 65 years + $10, students enrolled in school $10 and business is $25.

Supporting membership: Authors Society $50, Editor’s Circle $75 and Publishes Club $100. All funds collected go to the support of the library.

Make checks payable to Friends of the North End Library and mail to PO Box 130197, Boston, MA 02113. Checks can also be dropped off in the red box in the back of the library.

All dues and contributions are tax-deductible to the extent provided by law.
