North Square Public Art Project Making Progress

A + J Art + Design, working on the North Square Public Art Project recently traveled to Eliot, Maine to visit the Green Foundry for consultation/brainstorming session regarding the mold design and bronzed fabrication for the square’s fourth sculpture, “The Things We Brought With Us.”

This sculpture is a leather suitcase containing a North End feast procession. The street scene has buildings and forced perspective receding into the distance. The main facade is North Square’s Sacred Heart Church.

A + J Art + Design encourages families and friends with North End interests and connections to contribute to the North End Story Vault, where a collection of stories of local residents and events for later inclusion in the online component of the public at work. Send to #NorthSquarePublicArt.
