Greater Boston Convention + Visitors Bureau (GBCVB) President and CEO Pat Moscaritolo has been inducted into the Massachusetts Restaurant Association (MRA) Hall of Fame.
He is the first CVB CEO to be inducted into the MRA Hall of Fame and was recognized as a leader who has left lasting impacts on the Massachusetts hospitality industry, that includes many North End restaurants.
Moscaritolo helped create Boston Restaurant Week that takes place twice a year and usually has over 20 North End restaurants participating in March and August for two full weeks. Overall 155 restaurants statewide have participated in this special program.
“It’s an incredible honor to be selected for the MRA’s Hall of Fame alongside these remarkable business leaders and entrepreneurs all of whom have made extraordinary contributions to Boston and Massachusetts culinary culture and dining scene,†Moscaritolo said.
In the North End, Boston Restaurant Week has been productive for local eateries and attracts hundreds of diners each year.
Moscaritolo and his staff have worked hard to involve North End restaurants to participate in special promotions on a regular basis.
