Salumeria Italiana on Richmond Street has been presented the Good Neighbor Award by the North End/Waterfront Residents’ Association (NEWRA) for helping to keep the community clean by sweeping and picking up debris from the sidewalk and curb in front of their place of business.

“Owner Gaetano Martignetti has always made it his business to help keep the community clean,” NEWRA member Janet Gilardi said. “Gaetano and his employees really deserve this award.”

NEWRA presents the “Good Neighbor” Award once a month to a resident and/or a local business who makes an honest effort to help clean up the neighborhood.
