NEWNC Election Is on Saturday

Seven candidates have been certified to run in the 2014 North End/Waterfront Neighborhood Council (NEWNC) elections this coming Saturday, May 17 in the Nazzaro Community Center, 30 North Bennet Street from 10 AM to 2 PM.

There are six seats open for two-year terms. Voters can vote for up to six candidates. Residents must be eighteen years old to vote. Non-registered residents can cast ballots.

The ballots will be counted and the winners announced on Saturday afternoon.

Election Chair Maria Lanza urges residents to find the time to vote in the community election.

NEWNC candidates are Anne Devlin Tagliefarro, John Pregmon, Marie Simboli, Ryan Kenney, Gennaro Riccio, Anne Altieri and Jessica Dello Russo.
