A number of changes have been made to the proposed Government Center Garage Development based on several meetings with the community and officials at the Boston Redevelopment Authority (BRA).
The HYM Investment Group has continuously advised neighborhood groups that they are willing to work with them and the BRA to make changes based on their recommendations.
Obviously, they have kept their word to everyone involved thus far and have made changes to the project so that the community receives more benefits, sooner.
Reducing the height on two project parcels will reduce significantly shadows on the Rose Kennedy Greenway which abuts several communities.
The changes will also result in a decrease of office space, shifting space to additional space to residential use.
HYM Investment Groups confirmed willingness to work with everyone involved to make this project acceptable, is a good sign that they will continue this neighborly practice for the duration of the project.
HYM Investment Groups have thus far, put their best foot forward toward making the Government Center Project proposal at reality.
