Friends of Christopher Columbus Park (FOCCP) will hold their annual fundraiser, “A Park for All Seasons Monte Carlo Evening” on Saturday, November 16 at the Fairmont Battery Wharf from 7pm-11pm.
The 10th annual event will start with a reception from 7pm-8pm featuring hors d’oeuvres, live background music, a silent auction and a short speaking program about the park.
The ballroom doors will open at 8pm and the gaming will begin with Roulette, Blackjack, Craps and Texas Hold’em Poker.
Guests will enjoy a series of fine dining Chefs’ offerings as well as dancing under the stars in the Old North Skylight Room with the Luke Marantz Quintet.
FOCCP is an all volunteer non-profit organization comprised of North End/Waterfront residents and businesses.
The organization’s goals are to further the restoration, protection, preservation, care, enhancement, improvement and maintenance of the park, working closely with the City of Boston Parks and Recreation Department.
Since the park’s inception in 2001, FOCCP’s annual fundraiser has funded more than $50,000 events and activities at the park.
