The North End Columbus Day Celebration Committee has put together what seems to be a good Columbus Day Parade for spectators to view and enjoy.
Held in the North End every other year, the parade includes several marching bands, antique vehicles, military personnel, Boston Police and Fire Honor Guard, drum and bugle corps, color guard, floats, neighborhood groups and much more.
Local families and visitors should find their way to the parade scheduled for Sunday, October 13, passing through the Waterfront near Christopher Columbus Park making its way to Hanover and Endicott Streets.
The committee has worked hard to make this a successful parade. It would be terrific if the community would show up in force.
The committee would love to see a great turnout.
