Many program events and activities at Armenian Park

Friends of the Armenian Heritage Park on the Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy Greenway have put together a year of programs, events and activities at the public park.

It all starts with celebrating What Unites Us on March 26 and concludes with a Candlelit Labyrinth Walk in Peace and Harmony on Sunday, December 13.

In between, the annual reconfiguration of the Abstract Sculpture will be held on Sunday, April 19.

In remembrance, a gathering to honor the lives of those lost during genocide on Friday, April 24 and Sunday, April 26.

A two-part celebration of ArtWeek will be held on Saturday, May 2.

Free Health Screening at Nazzaro Center

BCYF Nazzaro Community Center will conduct a free health screening on Saturday, March 28 from noon to 4 PM.

“The program is provided by the Kidney Disease Awareness Program (KDSAP) Harvard Medical School and Brigham & Women’s Hospital,” Nazzaro Center Program Supervisor Laurie D’Elia said.

The program includes: Body mass index (BMI) blood pressure test, urine test, blood sugar test and a physician consult.

            Registration deadline is March 18. For more information call 617-635-5611. The Nazzaro Center is located at 30 North Bennet Street.
