Celebrate Independence at Old North Church July 1

Boston Harborfest is a nearly forty-year-old tradition celebrating Boston’s maritime and revolutionary history. Each year, beginning on July 1, organizations from across Boston come together to offer hundreds of activities celebrating Independence Day weekend at Boston’s best landmarks. This family-friendly event is one of the country’s largest Fourth of July festivals. Activities include the annual opening ceremony at Faneuil Hall, historical reenactments, Freedom Trail walks, boat tours, live entertainment, and much more!

This year Old North will host a myriad of special events to help celebrate Harborfest including two intimate Art and Architecture Tours, Make-Your-Own Signal Lanter craft sessions, Patriotic Story Time readings for our youngest rebels, and dramatic readings of “Paul Revere’s Ride” and the Declaration of Independence.
