I Am Books presents an Italian American Writers Association Literary Reading and Open Mic featuring authors Joey Nicoletti and Joseph Torra on Friday, February 22 at 6 PM. Jennifer Martelli will host the evening event.

The North End/West End Neighborhood Service Center (NSC), 1 Michelangelo Street will hold an Oral Health Workshop on Friday, February 22 from 1-2 PM.

Quilts for the Cause

The Old North Church speaker series: Quilts for the Cause will be held on Wednesday, March 13 at 6 PM. Speaker: Pamela Weeks Curator of the New England Quilt Museum. A reception will be held.

Reconfiguration of Sculpture

The annual reconfiguration of the Abstract Sculpture on The Greenway will take place on Sunday, April 7 at 7 PM. Rain date Sunday, April 14.

Celebrate Public Art

Celebrate Public ArtWeek Boston in collaboration with The Greenway Conservancy on Saturday, May 4, includes a World Labyrinth Day Walk at 1 PM.

A reception to view the 2019 abstract sculpture at 1:30 PM. Tea and desserts hosted by MEM T Imports and Eastern Lamejun Bakers.

Cutillo Park History Social

A Cutillo Park History Social will be held on Saturday, February 23 from 11 AM to 1 PM at the Nazzaro Community Center, 30 North Bennet Street hosted by Friends of Cutillo Park.

Historic maps, photos and articles will be on display. Lunch and refreshments will be served.

Attendees are encouraged to bring stories, photos and ideas to share.

Clean Streets Meeting

The North End Clean Streets Committee will meet on Thursday, February 28, at 6:30 p.m. at the Nazzaro Community Center, 30 North Bennet Street. Open to the public.

NEMPAC The Little Prince Auditions

Auditions will be held for the North End Music and Performing Arts Center (NEMPAC) Opera Project 2019 production of The Little Prince that will take place at Boston’s Historical Faneuil Hall on June 20 and 22.

Auditions for adult principal roles will be held on February 23 and 24.

Auditions for child treble roles ages 8-16, unchanged voices, of The Little Prince will be held on March 10.

NEAA Baseball Registration

Homework Help

The North End Library, 25 Parmenter Street will provide homework help for kindergarten through grade six on Wednesdays from 4-6 p.m.

Arts and Crafts

Arts and Crafts are held every other Thursday from 10 to 11 AM at the Villa Michelangelo. For more information call 617-523-8125.

In class, seniors use their muscles in their hands and arms and engage in planning and critical thinking, while being with the peers.

Past projects have included painting, flower design, centerpieces, collages and masks. Material for projects will be provided. For more info call 617-523-8125.

Tunnel of Love

The Columbus Park Trellis will be transformed into a Tunnel of Love during the month of February for the second year.
