A petition has been filed with the Landmark Commission to grant status to the exterior walls of the Bath House and Polcari Playground.
Currently, there is no real information relating to the request filed by North End residents that appear to hopefully move the petition on a fast track as soon as possible.
Landmark’s dedication will not affect the interior of the public building that houses the Nazzaro Community Center that could be relocated to one of three sites being proposed by the City.
Landmark’s designation for Polcari Playground would help protect public space. At the North End/Waterfront Residents’ Association (NEWRA) January meeting, members, by a show of hands, favored the Landmark proposal.
