FOCCP Monthly Meetings

            Friends of Christopher Columbus Park (FOCCP) will hold its meetings on the second Tuesday of each month at 6:30 PM in the Mariners House, 11 North Square, 2nd Floor.

Langone/Puopolo Parks Meeting

            Boston Parks and Recreation Department will hold a public meeting on Tuesday, February 23 at 6:30 PM in the Nazzaro Community Center. Topic: Langone and Puopolo Parks.

NEWNC         Monthly Meeting

            The next North End/Waterfront Neighborhood Council (NEWNC) monthly meeting will be held on Monday, February 13 at 7 PM in the Nazzaro Community Center.

Free English Classes Offered

FONE Bocce at Skating Rink

            Friends of the North End Bocce will continue through the winter months every Sunday morning at the Steriti Rink indoor courts. Spectators are welcome to attend. Spring/Summer tournaments will begin in late May.

FOCCP presents “Tunnel of Love” at Park’s Trellis

            Friends of Christopher Columbus Park (FOCCP) is gearing up to turn on the park’s well-known Trellis into a Tunnel of Love for Valentine’s Day on Sunday, February 10 from 4-9 PM. The event is free and open to the public.

Named Catholic Conference        All-Star

            Dom “DJ” DeCenso has been named a Catholic Conference Football All Star. He plays both defensive nose tackle and offensive right guard for Saint Mary’s School.

North End Student Accepted to Boston Latin

            North End student Richard Bova, a seventh-grade junior varsity hockey team standout, has been accepted to Boston Latin High School.
