The North End/Waterfront Residents’ Association (NEWRA) has set its sights on forming an AirBNB inventory, or an inventory of confirmed addresses where short-term rentals are available.
For some time, NEWRA and other community residents and neighborhood organizations have been concerned about short-term rentals.
NEWRA President Mary McGee reportedly told members she has heard from more and more neighbors claiming they notice the building next door to me and the building across the street from me are turning into an AirBNB.
NEWRA members feel AirBNB is taking rentals out of circulation in the neighborhood and it’s something they are going to address.
