NEWNC Will Host New Owners of Nursing Home

By Phil Orlandella

Due to the Columbus Day holiday, the North End/Waterfront Neighborhood Council (NEWNC) monthly meeting has been changed to Tuesday, October 10 at 7 p.m. in the Nazzaro Community Center, 30 North Bennet Street according to President John Pregmon.

Norman Rokeach, CEO of Marquis Health Services will attend the public meeting to discuss their anticipated plans as they begin full operation of the Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility on Fulton Street, which residents fought to keep open and their endeavor was obviously a success.

Rokeach will take questions from residents following his presentation.

Pregmon encourages residents to attend this important discussion that will focus on retaining an adequate community facility.
