More Residents Should Be Attending Neighborhood Meetings

More local residents should be attending the North End/Waterfront Neighborhood Council (NEWNC), North End/Waterfront Residents’ Association (NEWRA) and the North End Public Safety meetings held in the Nazzaro Community Center on a monthly basis.

These organizations are the pulse of the neighborhood that deal with construction, occupancy changes, height additions, beer, wine, cordial and full liquor licenses, and public safety with District A1 Boston Police.

Residents play a key role in determining the faith of the neighborhood and should be more responsive than attending only meetings in their part of the woods. Changes affect the entire neighborhood in one way or another.

It’s totally in the best interest of the neighborhood that residents express their opinions and suggestions before, not after the fact.
