There will be no voting requests at this Thursday’s September 11 North End/Waterfront Residents’ Association (NEWRA) monthly meeting scheduled for 7pm in the Nazzaro Community Center.
Presentations will be given on the North Bennet Street School’s (NBSS) interest in the Department of Transportation Building, 128 North Street. NBSS President Miguel Gomez-Ibanez will discuss this possible plan.
John Meaney of the Boston Department of Animal Care and Control will discuss enforcement capabilities and strategies concerning dog waste disposal and the leash laws in the North End.
The pros and cons of the expanded Bottle Bill Referendum on the November Election ballot, will be discussed.
A member of the YES on 2 Committee will answer questions and members will have the opportunity to voice their opinions.
The next NEWRA monthly meeting will be held on Thursday, October 9 at 7pm in the Nazzaro Community Center.
