The Ones That Didn’t Get Away

Anthony Caturano, owner/chef of Prezza in the North End, snagged a 104 inch, 590 pound tuna at the recent Bluefin Blowout Tournament held in Gloucester. Children’s Floating Hospital at Tuft’s University Medical Center received approximately $11,000 from the benefit tournament. Caturano’s catch earned him3rd place in the tournament.

Ten year old Rocco Orlandella, while deep sea fishing 30+ miles off the coast of Gloucester near Provincetown, reeled in a 12 foot blue shark and a mini Dog Fish (Shark). He left Gloucester hoping to snare a tuna but was happy with his fishing luck. Rocco returned his catch back to the ocean.
