BWSC Scheduling North End Repairs

Starting late August or early September, Boston Water and Sewer Commission (BWSC) will begin major improvements to drains, sewers, excavated repairs, non-excavated repairs, point repairs, pipelining placement and lining repairs throughout many North End streets.

The project could run until 2015 and cost millions of dollars to complete.

While BWSC plans to do everything possible to make the project go as smoothly as possible. They are asking that residents cooperate in order to make this major project successful and uneventful. This is must do construction project.

BWSC plans will be publicly presented this August, through emails, signs, flyers, community meetings and local newspapers.

Just like mechanics street cleaning, residents must pay attention to the information provided by BWSC which will detail streets, dates and times of this major undertaking.
